Model DF031D is one of the first new 10.8V platform models. Succeeding the DF030D but now with slide on Compact eXtreme Technology Batteries (depending which variation chosen). This Makita Screwdriver gives a high operation efficiency delivered from high rotational speed and improved screw strip management. The fantastic wee drill-driver is small enough yet powerful enough for most tasks not requiring a hammer drill. With great torque and a sensitive trigger allowing for very gradual screwing, essential when trying screw into wood without pilot holes. The rubberised handle has been designed for best grip and maximum thrust to the bit. A single LED joblight has pre-glow and after-glow functions handy for working in dark conditions.
