Product Description
MC-312R (TIG)Â is an austenitic stainless steel filler metal for welding. 29% Cr 9% Ni stainless cast steel or dissimilar metal to join 300 series stainless steels to carbon or low alloy steels. Typical applications include marine, re-conditioning, and refurbishment industries.
Notes on usage:
- For the GTAW process, use DC-EN, Pure Argon.
- For the GMAW process, Spray Transfer or Short Circuit Transfer mode can be used.
- 98% Argon + 2% O2Â shielding gas is recommended in the GMAW process.
Operational and Packaging Data:
- Rod size: 1.6mm, 2.0mm, and 2.4mm.
- Rod packaging: 5kg.
